Gaunt

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,

Gaunt - adj. Pale and exhausted, as because of worry or sleeplessness.

Example:

Ahmad: Salam Abd, you're looking rather gaunt today.
Abd: Salam. I do? Oh, I couldn't sleep last night.
Ahmad: What seems to be the problem?
Abd: You don't want to know.
